A few quick answers

How is this different from a shared calendar?

A calendar shows events. WeekBuffer checks whether work, travel and care fit together, and keeps an available adult separate from an accepted pickup.

Why use it after the first setup?

Keep your routine. Update what changed, compare another arrangement and see which responsibilities still need an answer.

Do I need a partner or a connected calendar?

No. Enter work hours yourself, or optionally connect Google Calendar in your account and choose calendars to sync. A partner can join later. The free day check uses only the answers you enter.

Your family plan. Your private life.

Privacy details

Check busy times without bringing private meeting details into the family plan. Helpers see only their task.

What calendar data is used?
Who can see what?

Your partner sees shared responsibilities and when you are busy. A helper’s private link shows the specific task, not your whole family plan. A parent’s phone record remains separate from the helper’s own reply.

The free day check needs no names or exact addresses. Family and calendar data are never sold or used for advertising. Optional analytics and marketing stay off unless you permit them.

Checks use entered details and selected, synced calendars. Missing or outdated information stays visible; a successful sync does not guarantee a complete plan.
