FAQ

Quick answers to help you find your next step.

Getting started

What does WeekBuffer help me do?

Bring work, childcare, travel and handoffs into one family plan. WeekBuffer uses your saved information to show timing conflicts, small margins and arrangements that still need confirmation, with a practical next step.

What does the free Stress Test check?

One typical day for one child, using the answers you enter. It gives you one useful finding and lets you correct your answers and check again. It does not check your complete family week or connected calendars. Your answers and result are kept for up to 24 hours from when you start.

What does the paid plan add?

The paid plan brings the complete family week into view: multiple children, responsibilities, dated exceptions, issues and possible changes. Return-to-Work adds the return journey and practice Dry Runs; Working Family is the ongoing subscription. Check the offer for the included features and access period.

Do I need every detail before I start?

Start with what you know and use the guided setup to add the missing pieces. Unknown information stays visibly unknown. A reliable timing check needs the relevant care hours, travel estimates and realistic departure time; it cannot infer these from a blank answer.

Can I use WeekBuffer without a partner?

Yes. A partner is optional. If another adult joins, they use their own account. Partner access is included in the household plan; each adult confirms their own responsibilities.

Do I have to connect a calendar?

No. You can enter work hours manually. Those hours are assumptions you provide, and calendar commitments remain unchecked until a supported connection is available, selected and successfully synced.

Why can’t I see a Google Calendar connect button?

If Calendar settings says connections are not available yet, the integration has not been activated for the service. Refreshing the page cannot enable it. You can continue with manual work hours. When available, connecting Google is followed by choosing calendars and completing their first sync.

Does a stable day mean everything is guaranteed?

No. Stable means no hard conflict was found in the information checked. Missing details, unconfirmed care, outdated information, traffic and real-world changes can affect the day. Confirm important arrangements with the people involved.

Payments, privacy and help

Is Return-to-Work a subscription?

Return-to-Work is a one-time household purchase for the access period shown in the offer, with no automatic subscription. Working Family is a separate monthly or yearly subscription. The checkout shows the price, currency, taxes and renewal terms before you pay.

How do I cancel a subscription or request a refund?

Use Plans & billing to manage or cancel an active subscription. Stopping renewal is different from requesting a refund, withdrawing from a purchase or deleting your account. If you need help, contact support with your order reference. Your applicable consumer rights and the purchase terms determine refunds.

How can I manage or delete my data?

Signed-in adults can use Privacy & my data for the available requests and controls. You can also email privacy@weekbuffer.com without signing in. Account deletion, household deletion and leaving a household have different effects; deleting an account is not a substitute for cancelling a subscription.

Read the Privacy Notice
Where can I report a problem or suggest an improvement?

Email support@weekbuffer.com with a short description. For a bug, say what you were trying to do and what happened. Do not include passwords or sensitive family details. Use security@weekbuffer.com for suspected security issues.
